Swallowtail
Getting into the butterflies from yesterday. The bees turned out much better than I thought. This poor swallowtail had lots of wing damage. More willing to ignore me and feed than other more intact butterflies. Here is another look at the wings. The tattered wings on some of the butterflies I see are amazing. Even more so when they can fly.
I’ve another swallowtail in addition to this one with massive wing damage. More butterfly tomorrow!
